About Us

We are an adult women's faith formation group at Most Precious Blood Church in Corpus Christi, Texas.  On Tuesdays, we have our meetings, which consist of prayer, a teaching by the Coordinator or one of the team members, meditation, small groups and fellowship. 

We want to help women grow closer to Jesus, Mary, the Church, and in friendship with other women.  Do you feel like you're "stuck in a rut" in your faith journey?  Do you desire fellowship, on a weekly basis, with other women who are seeking Christ?  Do you want to learn more about the Catholic faith?  Do you want to become immersed in God's word? This is the group for you!  Please come join us!

About the Coordinator, Alycia Valentiny:

Hi!  I am so excited and blessed to be leading this amazing program this year.  I look forward to getting to know the beautiful women that the Holy Spirit will bring to this ministry.  I love the Lord very much and can only hope to share my love for Him with others, so that they may know the peace, joy and love that comes from being in a relationship with Christ. 

I am a wife and mother to 2 young children.  My husband also serves the community of Most Precious Blood as one of the youth ministers.  We are so blessed to be able to do ministry together and to serve the Church as a family.  You will probably get to know my husband and children, too, if you become apart of WOW! 

I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio with a dual degree in Theology and Religious Education.  I have a passion for teaching the faith and especially for ministering to my fellow sisters in Christ.  We have a unique role, as women, in God's plan.  He wants to be close to us in our daily lives and He simply asks that we give him our hearts, whether they be broken, hurt, confused, lost, etc.  He just wants us, where we're at, and He will lift us up to His most Sacred Heart and be with us on our journey. 

I am so blessed to have a team of women helping me in this ministry.  Many of them have been involved in this ministry for 3 or more years.  They, along with me, are here to serve YOU, whatever your needs may be.  I hope that we can all enter into a sisterhood together!
